We strongly encourage submission of various kinds. We also do not limit our scope except that submissions should relate, in some way, to either Scotland or Traditionalism.
To give an example of the breadth: if you wish to write a commentary on what's happening in the indy movement, we'd love to hear about it. If you wish to write about Shinty, we'd love to hear about it. If you wish to write about the esoterica of Scottish dining etiquette, we'd love to hear about it.
Of course, we want to make a case for independence from a traditionalist angle, but traditionalism encompasses so much more than just politics.
We simply ask that submissions remain within the broad scope of what NewAlba stands for: upholding our national tradition, in everything from music, to politics, to literature, to religion et sic. If you have a point to make, we'd love to hear about it.
We do not adopt any particular house style. Feel free to write as befits your piece. Just make sure that your words are saved in an editable format (e.g. .doc, .docx, .odt). No PDFs.
We accept pieces in English, Gàidhlig, and even Scots. Pitches and Submission can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
In sum: we'd love to hear from you.
